A project in Los Angeles, CA consisting of upgrades to existing groundwater and storm water collection systems. Site work included the installation of additional lift stations, waterproofing, urethane grouting, force main piping, electrical controls, and shoring, along with holding and pump chamber installations.
A civil project in Chula Vista, CA applied box channel construction as a remedy for flood control. The work included extensive shoring using temporary soil nail walls (4,900 square feet) and storm water by-pass systems (2,950 lineal feet). Box channel cast-in-place concrete with (3155 cubic yards and 345,000 lbs. of rebar) was installed including 31,600 cubic yards of grading and the addition of 3 pedestrian bridges across the completed channel.
