This project was for a custom home site in La Jolla, CA and included (7,200 cubic yards of grading, and 2,500 cubic yards of imported soil). Other work involved erecting temporary and permanent shoring walls, constructing a caisson pile foundation for masonry retaining walls, and some site drainage and demolition work.
Slope stabilization and slope repair work at a site in La Jolla Ca involved (10,800 Cubic yards) of grading, and the construction of caissons (48 caissons for slope stability with 36-inch diameters and 56 feet deep). The project included foundation underpinning to provide support for the houses above the slope. In addition were some site drainage repairs.
Ground Force has completed the construction of a Tennis Pavilion at this Custom Estate site in La Jolla. Work included 6,000 Cubic Yards of Grading and Soil Export, construction of a 3800 square foot Soil Nail Wall, Storm Drains and Rip Rap Channel Lining. Project Geotechnical Engineering was by Terra Pacific Consultants, Civil Engineering was by Coffey Engineering and Soil Nail Wall Engineering was by Earth Support Systems.
